Lobster Bisque
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 to 2 cups cooked lobster meat, about 1 small lobster * 2/3 cup dry sherry * 1/2 cup butter * 3 tablespoons flour * 6 cups milk * 2 teaspoons steak sauce * salt and pepper to taste * seasoned salt to taste * 1 stalk celery, chopped * 1 carrot, chopped * 1/2 Vidalia onion, chopped * 3 cloves garlic, crushed
PREPARATION: In a small bowl, combine lobster and sherry; set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Blend in flour and cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Add celery, carrot, onion, and garlic. Continue cooking and stirring until mixture is thickened; stir in steak sauce and salt, pepper, and seasoned salt to taste. Add lobster and sherry; cover and simmer lobster bisque for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until vegetables are soft. Makes 8 cups of lobster bisque.
Buon appetito!

I'm very lucky and I do know it. :9
This man takes care of me, he's kind and gentle, he's extremely intelligent, he's funny as hell, and he cooks!! What gets me is that he's not afraid of trying new things - this was his first attempt at lobster bisque and it was AMAZING!!
My man rocks! :woohoo:
