But because corporate culture flows from the top, I wonder what other winners they have over there.
Just because he's gone, doesn't mean that his legacy isn't.

6. I don't have a problem with weight. |
|
(If anything, I could stand to gain a few pounds) But my main beef is with how tedious and repetetive the food here is...never any variety and what there is is mediocre anyway.
So, yeah...stove/oven = good. :9

Actually, good for you. I love cooking too - it's wonderful to take this bunch of ingredients, play around with them for a while (the stove satisfying my pyromaniacal tendancies along the way), drinking gin whilst doing so (of course) and then having some good food at the end. :9
I can still remember the food served in my halls of residence...:scared: I lost a load of weight in my first term at university because I pretty much stopped eating.

from the time I started college until Columbus day weekend freshman year when I went home to buy new clothes. Several people asked if I had developed an eating disorder. If they knew what dorm food was like they wouldn't have had to ask me that.

26. hey I can cook up a storm |

I'm a hell of a good baker, cake and pie maker, bread from scratch, pizza, hell you name it I'll cook it. I do 98% of the cooking here, partly because I can make what I like and I'm eccentric about eating other people's cooking they tend to use nasty stuff, I used to hate going to potluck dinners when I was a kid. Anyway, I digress the absolute worst pizza I've ever encountered was a a place called gambinos, it was supposed to be a Hawaiian pizza but was a cracker with canadien bacon and pineapple slivers. Besides which they had two tvs going one tuned to fux news and the other to fux news local, gave me the worst case of indigestion ever.

It's a great way to unwind and to get rid of stress after a long day in my opinion. Getting creative, smelling the aromas, sneaking a taste before everyone else. I prefer on hands cooking versus boiling something or baking something. I like messing with the food the entire time it's cooking until it's time to put it on a plate.

32. When I lived in the dorms and ate cafeteria food, there were only 3 |
|
palatable items: Granola Tri-taters Lucky charms.
I did steal a five gallon jar of manzanilla olives at the end of one semester to "get my money's worth out of my meal plan," though.
and about twenty table settings worth of silverware.

34. Don't know if it's still around |
|
but in Amherst, MA (home of UMass) there used to be (early 80s) a pizza place called "La Mia Pizza", later "Avanti Pizza".
It was so bad that even people who were stoned out of their minds and had some mega munchies going on would turn away from it.
The only reason they stayed in business is that they delivered later than anyone else in town.
