So 'inhaling a harmful intoxicant' is a crime? You know, I regard that as sort of silly. If some moron wants to destroy his brain cells by huffing paint, or glue, or gasoline, I say let him. In the words of Kurt Vonnegut, 'no great loss'. (And oddly enough taking the slow route to permanent brain damage via alcoholism is still legal.)

2. Did you see the list of prior charges? |

I'd say his inhaling of a harmful intoxicant does adversely affect others.
Apart from that, it's still a funny-ass photo.

whether his previous charges of domestic assault & etc were linked to inhalant abuse, though. If that behaviour leads to acts of violence directed at others, then he should be prosecuted for those, not for being stupid enough to think that the sensation of his brain cells dying by the millions is really nifty.

Street kids in Recife sit around huffing glue constantly-- largely because it averts hunger pangs.
I remember watching one kid playing some portable video game while holding a bottle full of something toxic in his teeth. Then Lenny's parents drove up and somehow the kids knew they had bread in the trunk...
It's one of the few things that really bother me about this otherwise lovely tropical paradise-- both how these kids are never going to have a future without a working cerebrum, and what may happen when they flip out altogether and I'm in striking distance :scared:
