All the juicy details of the Elle/MSNBC.com reader survey on sex.
Interesting survey.

In February, Elle and MSNBC.com asked readers to talk about sex in our exclusive online survey. Specifically, we wanted to find out about sex in long-term relationships. Does it sizzle or fizzle once infatuation fades?

Over two weeks, 77,895 readers, half women and half men, completed the survey. Nine out of 10 respondents were in a monogamous relationship. Here are the intimate details they shared about their personal lives:

1. Hey
Why are there enough male Elle readers to make up a statistically valid survey?

And why does Elle think that their male readers are representative of the whole Y-chromosome set?

And given all of that, why should I believe anything in this survey at all?

3. i'm surprised so many people don't engage
in oral sex -- especially people who e-mail or telephone teasing messages.
what would you tease about?

oh well maybe it's my limited imagination -- not.

4. I took this survey!
The questions were not exactly what I'd call statistically valid, but they did ask questions that would seem relevant to such a survey. You have to consider the population who chose to take the survey, though---I'm sure not too many neocons or Christian fundies took it (or any type of fundies, for that matter!).
