Techies, how do I generate a text list of urls from my Explorer favorites |
|
folder? I want to send them to someone as an attachment in an email.

1. Go to File -> Import and Export -> Export Favorites -follow the wizard. |
|
Send to that person and they can do the same thing, except import instead of export.

3. Start, Run, type in "notepad" |
|
and then, when notepad opens, open Explorer.
Click "Favorites" on the top toolbar so the side bar of your favorites appears.
right click on the first item in the list, select "properties", hi-light the URL, copy with CTRL+C, then paste into Notepad with CTRL+V.
do this over and over again until you have copied all of the URLs from your favorites into notepad, then save it as a .txt file.
Of course, that's a painful, cruel, and unnecessarily complex way to do it.
Better off just exporting them...
