I just learned, after the tearful goodbye episode tonight, that this series was based on my favorite movie...The American President w/Michael Douglas/Annette Benning.
Just thought I'd share. :hi:

Aaron Sorkin was behind it all. :hi:
I'm all weepy; it was kind of a depressing Mother's Day, and the series finale of WW was just icing on the cake.

..that I was flipping through the other day. Aaron Sorkin wrote the movie and developed the series, by popular request :)

4. It was bittersweet ... |

I was sitting there after the show went off expecting the previews for next week because that is what I naturally did after every episode.

This is the first drama show that has kept my attention.I always watched this show on the Bravo Monday marathon's when I was unemployed in the fall of 2004 because this show and the Kerry/Edwards campaign gave me hope.

Implies that there was a narrative connection. There was not. However, as EW reported, TWW had its genus in Thomas Schlamme's suggestion to Sorkin that "The American President" would make a great series

I cried tonight, what could have been, what could be. Sorkin started it, and seven years later, it could be.
