My Mother's Day.
Worked, gardened, yakked gardening over the back fence with a wonderful neighbor, lounged in the hammock and listened to the song birds in the eucalyptus grove in the park at the back end of our yard.

Discussed dinner with my son. Had a hankering for SF Powell's Place fried chicken, red beans, greens, and hush-puppies, but am trying to be a vegetarian.

I asked my son to help me in that quest. He brought me a gin and lime juice and said "Drink your juice, Shelby." I love my son.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms at DU.

It highlights the massive protests in america for the past 4 years that the M$M ignores, with a particular focus on women.
