__... and the contrast between the trees and the sky... not to mention your framing and placement, which is impeccable!
__... but tell me, what is the difference between the two shots of the cathedral? The lighting seems quite a bit more sunset-y in the first one!

it looked like it was going to rain and sometimes there is a certain light when the sun is shining on those clouds. That is why I got that one stunning pic. In the second one of the cathedral the sun was behind clouds.

I took them north of Berlin. Near where the river Havel connects with the river Elbe :)

I was so excited about the flood waters and the clouds and light that I took a bunch more. We were taking a small ferry over the river and I shot almost a whole film of the scenery.
