Wikipedia game
Edited on Mon May-15-06 09:30 AM by YankeyMCC
If like me you've got a bit of time you need to use up this AM here's a little game I thought of yesterday when I noticed the "Picture of the Day" on Wikipedia's home page was of Uncle Sam which had a direct link to my hometown of Arlington, MA. (I'm calling the town I currently live in my 'hometown' not the one I grew up in)

So Today it took me 8 clicks to get to Arlington from the first hyperlink in the Picture of the Day blurb.

How many clicks does it take you to get to your home town starting from any of the hyperlinks in the "Picture of the Day" blurb on the Wikipedia home page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page (or your native language equivalent)?

The only rules are that all the hyperlinks should be to Wikipedia links (not external) and you can't edit an entry yourself to include a link.

Today my click route was "Vaduz --> Roman Catholic --> Roman Catholicism by country --> North America --> United States --> Massachusetts --> List of towns in Massachusetts --> Arlington"

edit: spell checked
