We have a new addition to the family!

Frankie and sydney, our cockatiels, hatched their first little one tonight. All seems to be well, the parents seem to know what they're doing. I'd post a pic, but the little red blob is hidden under Frankie and isn't coming out.

Both parents are new to this, so we're keeping an eye out to make sure they're doing what they're supposed to. Hopefully, we'll be lucky. This was the third round of eggs...first one to hatch.

5. Kicking for the day crew

Baby bird made it through the night and seems to be doing well. Momma Sydney doesn't seem to know what to do, but Daddy Frankie is taking care of things, keeping the little one warm and fed. Pics will be up soon...I took some, but I can't find the cable for my camera to transer them over.
