Man who stabbed cat with sword given probation

ARVADA - A 39-year-old man was sentenced to probation Friday for stabbing a cat six times with a sword.

Arvada Police say Richard Davis stabbed the cat with a 2-foot sword in August 2005 after it scratched and bit his fiancée.

The cat, named "Precious," was badly injured, but survived.

Davis was sentenced to two years probation on animal cruelty and criminal mischief charges. He was also ordered to continue with mental help counseling and pay fines and fees associated with the case.

because that's what's next with these people. Animal abusres are fucked in the head and they need to be kept away from animals and vulnerable people.
