Dinner was great, but my dearly beloved has a knack for not being able to put aside the small difficulties inherent in life on Planet Earth. Being the designated drunkard for the evening, my only option was to try to disappear into the passenger seat during the short drive home, and try to not audibly roll my eyeballs for the rest of the evening, while All That Has Gone Wrong was outlined in gory detail AGAIN.
Sigh.
Maybe the s.o. should be the designated drunkard *this* evening...THEN maybe we'd both get something out of it... :evilgrin:
