Does the Kudzu thread really deserve credit for its high post count? |
|
There have been bigger threads that grew much more quickly because people were genuinely interested in posting on the thread. The Kudzu thread, by contrast, only grew so large because a few people kept kicking it, artificially boosting its post count, even after real discussion had died.
I think an asterisk should be put next to the Kudzu thread's post count, like Roger Marris.

3. The Kudzu thread was slow to grow, but it is also interesting. |
|
There are many interesting facts about Kudzu in the thread, kudzu is an herb.
Many things can be made from kudzu, I didn't know this until the kudzu thread came along.
Many new people posted on the Kudzu thread, and it has been a lot of fun.

This is America. Tons of things get recognition even if they don't deserve it. It's the American way. Kudzu is about America. Therefore it deserves recognition.
