How often do 2 DUers share 1 computer?

Another posting elsewhere on DU got me wondering how often 2 different DUers share 1 computer and if this causes problems, like having to share or perhaps forgetting to log off between?

1. must be a quiet day here on DU today.

or else I am on everyone's ignore list or no one knows. Ah well, it is drizzly out so my plans of lawnmowing with the $5 GoodWill push mower (no motor but me) has gone away, instead I will drink a beer and talk with myself here before retiring to watch a movie and eat chips and salsa.

2. It happens sometimes

And if it's indeed two users, then there should be no problems.
Logging off after each visit, using two different browsers or two distinct user accounts on the computer are possibilities to avoid problems.

3. I know of a DUer that had to start over since was on a public computer

old username got ts'd. I also know that there are couples who share at home. Must be a pain if you forget to log off and in again. Alert is my friend when I question things, I guess.

In which case it's quite likely that they'll be sharing the computer.

8. I once forgot to log off of a computer at school

and another DUer went to sign on from the same computer the next day. I didn't even know there were other DUers at my school. :silly:
