5. Have you ever heard the Tricky version?
Edited on Sun May-21-06 07:25 AM by LoZoccolo
It's just called "Black Steel". There's a woman singing it rather than rapping, and the lyrics only go up to the part where she's thinking about how she has to get out of jail ("I got a raw deal, and I'm looking for the steel") before it repeats the lyrics like two or three more times. I actually like it better than the original because the way it's structured is like, someone's in jail ruminating on what just happened to them to bring them there over and over and how they have to get out. Plus it's this echoey punk-rock treatment of it.

6. I did not know such a version existed. I'll have to check it out.
Score one for Oasis!

It's been shortened by like two minutes for video though. Which sucks because like I said the repetition is kind of an interesting rendition of it.
