Anyone else beginning to think that we won't meet the fund drive goal? |
|
Well, I guess we could, and now that I've posted this, we probably WILL (:D), but there are still like 150 donations to go.
Usually fund drives take so little time to accomplish... I wonder what's up.

4. Good morning, my dear WIMR! |
|
I think this fund drive is going slower due to several things:
There haven't been any more indictments....
The Valentine Day drive was inspired, and hugely successful.....
And maybe people are just not that turned on by the stickies...
I'm sure they will make their goal....they always have...:hi:

plus featuring the discredited leopold/pitt story on the front page is not something that should prob. be rewarded if we want the site to continue to be considered a serious resource?
plus the price of gas and food these days, who has anything extra?

"hey hey Grovelbot where ya goin with that DU cash in your hand I'm gonna go way down south and annoy the Bush man"
I personally am really enjoying the stickies, so many wonderful styles and messages indicative of the individuality of this place. I wish they wouldn't disappear after the fund, and I wish we could enlarge them, in some of them I'm missing details.

10. I'm sure we will make it. |

But the stickies have been less of a success than the hearts. Despite my state antipathy at receiving some of them - they really caught on and caused many donations, the stickies less so, possibly because one needs to think of something to say on them.

To clarify, it's a private school, but I feel the tuition should cover it. They do not. :(

i guess that clears that up but yes i do agree with you private school tuition should definitely incl transportation unless its somewhere in another state or something
i once went to private school except it was in the basement of our church (and i was so lucky to have my aunt as one of the monitors) i walked but i really should have been reimbursed for all that pain and suffering
