I'm The Luckiest Guitar Clown Alive
Last night I went to an auction. I'm a regular. The place I went to had a lit of nice old furniture last night, and that is what I was there for, but they do something else too. They auction off abandoned storage unit lots they buy up in bulk. This stuff sells for next to nothing, sight unseen.

I bought up two of those piles (usually just junk in cardboard boxes). In the second, which was stuffed full of plastic flowers but also had three heavy extension cords I was interest in on top, I found something.

In the bottom: 1975 Martin D-28 Guitar in what appears to be the original case and all in extremely nice condition. Cost, $2.12 with tax.

Eat your heart out.

7. My Wife Grabbed It Immediately
Her eyes lit up and it was gone.

We'll just call it a birthday present.

Dam, I wish I had the first clue how to play one of the things.

5. You lucky duck...........
I work in a music store that sells Martins, and even with my employee discount, there's no way I'd be able to afford a 28. Kudos to your good fortune and could you please send some this way?
