We go through there 2 or 3 times a year on the way to our daughter's house in Boston.

16. what I find amazing is that this park is two blocks from the
busiest open air drug market in Newburgh (Carpenter and Second St or Carpenter and Third). At the north end of Carpenter you have million dollar mansions. On the south end of Carpenter (where carpenter meets Broadway) is the heart of the inner city.

18. well, north of Carpenter Ave is the Town of Newburgh
and one enighborhood, Balmville, is full of neat, stately mansions... and cheesy McMansions. :)
