I had quite the adventure |
|
First I went and found a burrito place, then I went to the Natural History museum, but they were about to close. Then I went to the mission and wandered around outside.
Finally I went down to the beach where I had seen a sailboat washed up on shore a few days ago.
I parked the car and walked over to the boat, and there were some dudes hanging out there. 2 young surfer dudes and an older guy. I started talking to them, and it turned out that one of the dudes owned the boat. He said that the moral of the story is not to buy a boat, and if you do either have an expensive anchor or keep the boat moored in the harbor.
He asked me if I could stand on a rope while he went and did some shit, so I did. Eventually this other dude came along and they all jumped in the water and tried to push the boat, so I jumped in the water too and helped push.
The water was pretty warm, and the waves were smallish, but I got knocked on my ass a few times. Then it started raining and damn it was wet. I gave it up as a bad job after a bit, and just watched the lads push the boat.
Good times.

3. It wasn't really dangerous |
|
The only real danger was getting hit my the boat, and that didn't happen.
It was a good time, but I can tell I am going to be sore tomorrow. :P
