It's 1:30 in the morning. I am hungry. The fridge is empty.
All I have is a bag of corn chips...with naught but crumbs left.

The following conditions, when added together, equal scrunchy-face smiley: x(

Admittedly, I think the food downtown is better than the food in the Student Center.

Although me and my friends like to go there for the Friday all-you-can-eat.

Why not go to Dominick's or some place in the 'hood, YO?

17. It's hard to go to bed hungry
I have that problem, sometimes. I'm not supposed to eat just before going to bed because of acid reflux. But, it's hard to sleep when you're hungry, isn't it?

There's nothing worse than going to bed hungry. I often have to grab some cookies or something before I jump into bed.

31. it's middle eastern food and it's on Wabash...
on the east side of the street, definitely north of Madison, and it's inside one of the jewelry buildings.

It was good and quick and pretty cheap for right downtown.

38. I live at home and I usually feel that way.
My mother never learned how to feed her family and I refuse to buy any food because everyone else eats it before I even get any. There's five of us in the house. If I buy real food, the odds are good that the others will eat it before I get to it.

Essentially this is my mother's idea of shopping for the week: several containers of organic milk, four boxes of assorted cereals, random large can of baked beans (I have no idea why...I think she's stockpiling baked beans for the rapture), several Lean Cuisine dinners, possibly a couple loaves of bread (but nothing to put on them for a sandwich), some eggs, massive amounts of soda and bottled water, orange juice, strawberries, bananas.

Basically, this woman is trying to feed us a diet consisting purely of breakfast foods. If you ask her why she buys this much breakfast food, her reply will be "because you guys eat so much of it." As much as we say, that we prefer to live off things other than cereal, she continues to buy mass amounts because "we eat so much cereal." I swear, my sister and I need to go on some sort of anti-cereal hunger strike.
