Why don't they do remakes of flicks that were already bad
(like the Hindenburg) and make them better??

1. Because people will think "hey, the original sucked, this one will too!"
But when they remake good films, people think "hey, the original was good, this one should be good too!"

Remaking movies that people already like = $$$$

People who pay to see these remakes and expect them to be good = dumb
