Good Monday Morning, Crew!

:donut::hi:
Welcome to the Monday edition of the Early Morning Crew thread! :boumce: I hope you had a nice, relaxing weekend with not TOO many chores to do! I worked both days this weekend, so I was a busy boy, but I did manage to get some relax time in between. I'm off today, so laundromat...here we come!

I'm still looking for Early Morning Crew photos to include in the photo montague! So far, I have pictures of: Billyskank, Miss Buffy, Cannikin, Droopy, Hissyspit, Miss Joan, Miss Honey, MrsGrumpy, Miss Mutley, Random, Miss Seattle, Starbucks and Swimboy. If your name isn't listed, and you have a photo somewhere, please post it so I can include you! :bounce:

Are you ready to get this new week started? It's going to be a great week, I can feel it! :bounce: So let's get it on! :woohoo:

4. Hi Clintmax!!!
Cruel Summer is a great song for today. :)

This Is IT! The day we list the house. Part of me is nervous that it will sit like a lump on a log...part of me is worried we'll get an offer and not be able to find a new house. It's nailbiting time.

Glad you have the day off...although the laundromat is never much fun. :loveya:

But...that rarely happens. We're selling with 45 days to occupancy, and that seems like too little time.

Music is a collection of Venetian music late 16th early 17th century - currently O Magnum Mysterium by Giovani Gabrieli.

Only joking, 20 past 5 is still unearthly to my mind.

There was quite a family of Gabrielis in Venice at the time - if that's a time and place one's keen on then he's pretty important, but in a more global scale quite a minor chap.

You've got my picture too haven't you?

7. Good morning Clint
I am on sick leave today. Saturday to Sunday I slept wrong and yesterday part of my back hurt quite a lot when moving. It still hurts today, so I called in sick. Now I am laying on my couch relaxing, watching TV, sleeping, reading ... and hoping the back will get better soon.

if I don't move, it ain't hurting. So I try to stay quiet. And it isn't hurting so much that I would need medicine. It is more unpleasant than painful.

Sad to hear that you are not feeling well. At least this gives you more book reading time, if that's any consolation. I didn't get just too far with my book this weekend. Decided to take advantage of the nice weather and did some bike riding.

Take care of yourself and hope you feel better soon.

For some reason, everybody who came in this weekend wanted to move our whole store around. People trying to move dining tables to another area to see if they match something else...taking prints and paintings off the wall... I was totally frustrated with THAT nonsense, let me tell ya! I just wanted to go up to them and say: "Do we come to your house or place of business and move everything around? No! And we'd appreciate the same courtesy here, thank you!"

Do you get people who switch tags on things so they can get a cheaper price? I'm not sure if that would be possible in a store like yours. But in Toys, where so much of the merchandise is small, people switch tags, then bitch at the register when they don't get the supposed "listed price". :eyes:

80. Oh yeah, he's a rabbit.
It turns out he's a boy. The vet had said that he was 99% sure they were both females when I first brought the two in as babies. Well, Darwin got the other rabbit knocked up. Little rabbit sluts.

He's the reddish brown dwarf in the front. Elfie is the white/silver pregnant one in the back.

87. Well in his defense, Darwin was soo tiny.
Elfie is a regular rabbit so even though they were both about 6 weeks, according to the vet she was much bigger than Darwin, who's a purebred dwarf. He was hamster sized. I bought him because he was not only the tiniest of the rabbits but the friendliest.

So basically the vet said he was totally positive Elfie was female and 99% positive Darwin was too, although it was tough to tell at that size. Well, he got bigger and it became apparent he was not a girl.

82. Morning Clint!
I just had to download that song and listen to it. :)

I just woke up. My little brother is going home to Montana today, in a few hours.

Laundry! I just did some laundry the other day myself. I hate doing chores like that.

I am addicted to Myspace. Been doing stuff on there for a few weeks. Pretty fun. I was reading the blog of a Ultimate Fighter this morning. It's odd. He's heartbroken, writing sad posts about his ex, about drinking etc. Fascinating to see a guy like that, who is a former world champion cage fighter, become despondent over a breakup. I guess us humans aren't all that different after all. :) I'll paste the link if you want to check it out. Just click on his blog and you'll get right to it.

Laundry again? Didn't you just do that the other week? Yup, that's a never ending battle. I do laundry every weekend, and I should be thinking about taking some of my summer stuff to the dry cleansers. They are so expensive, but a necessary evil.

I rowed both Saturday and Sunday morning, so my weekend was great! Hawks were flying over the river, and of course the ducks with their babies paddling by. They are so cute!

Taking Friday as a vacation day so I'll have a nice long weekend. I'm looking forward to sleeping in on Friday already. Now how bad is that?
