5. There is a difference between being lonely and being alone

It never bothered me when I wasn't with somebody. I didn't mind going to movies or eating at a restaurant by myself. Others, many others I know will be with the wrong person or stay in a bad relationship because they're more afraid of being alone or afraid what others may think of them for being alone. Not me. I never minded being by myself as my life is just as happy and content without someone as it is with someone. If you're not happy to begin with, then being with somebody isn't going to help that much either in my opinion. That's what helped me to be more patient over the years. Waiting for the RIGHT person to come along versus waiting for the FIRST person to come along.

The wait and the choice was well worth it speaking of the current Mrs. DTW
