It feels like Minnesota here this morning. |
|
Walking the kids to school this morning, I noticed the air felt and smelled like Minnesota. It's pleasantly cool, on its way to quite warm this afternoon, and there's quite a bit of humidity in the air. I wanted to make the walk last longer, so maybe I'll pop my son in the little red wagon and go walking again after having breakfast and ironing a few shirts.
It feels just like a June morning in Minnesota. The humidity is all too rare here in the high desert.

2. You are pining for humidity? |
|
Hmm... this may seriously change my estimation of you. ;)
(And do I want to know how bad it'll be in August?)

3. I can't stand dry roasting heat. |
|
Give me 80 and humid ANY DAY over 100 and dry.
I'm not going to up and move to, say, Corpus Christi or Houston any time soon, but I'm not fond of the inside of an oven.
It'll be pretty humid in August. Whether it's hot also is anyone's guess at this point.

I spend most of the summer whinging "It wouldn't be so bad if it were just a dry heat."
