Extra credit if you give the title of the song(s)!

2. German, for one
Sie Liebt Dich, for one. I think they did a German version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", but I don't remember the title.

7. Not quite
"Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand." Sensibly, they went for scansion over accuracy.

Also "Sie Liebe Dich."

Apologies if I didn't spell those correctly. German isn't my first language. It's not even in the top half-dozen

12. I think it's "Sie Liebt Dich", isn't it?
Liebt being the third-person singular present tense for "love". Liebe would be first-person singular, like "Ich Liebe Wienershnitzel mit Kartoffeln".

It's been a long time ago since I spoke German, so maybe I'm way off.

4. They also recorded in German.
A friend of mine from Germany had several original Beatles albums in German. "Sie Lieb Dich" is great in German! :) (And yes, it really WAS the Beatles and not some cover group!)

6. French and Farsi?
Michelle My Belle.... Can't think of other French at the moment

The Farsi is WILD guess especially since I can't think of any such song(s) at the moment. However their fascination with India made me throw it out there.... Caution to the wind! :-)

8. Michelle actually isn't French...
it's nonsense words strung together in a vaguely Frenchy way. Many of the words really are French, but they make no sense toogether, so it can't really be called "recording in French." The Beatles did, however, do a few songs in German

11. Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble
Translation: Are words that go well together

But agree, it's not perfect French. However, it is French used in a poetic way.

16. "Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand."
The spelling may not be totally correct. They also did "She Loves You" in German.

John, at the end of Sun King, also strung together a set of words in several Romance languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.). Does that count?

17. Kudos to those who picked German!
They recorded Sie Liebt Dich (She Loves You) and Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand (I Want to Hold Your Hand) in German for the West German market.

And yes, they did use some other languages in other songs, but those two are the only ones completely in another language.
