1. I don't get it - how are wet birds being denied food?

If that was your point, anyway.

Or perhaps you meant that the bird in your pictures is wet? I can't tell from the photo.

Doesn't look it's raining, so I'm confused.

3. I was taking pictures in the rain yesterday afternoon with my new camera.

There are tiny raindrops hanging on the feeder if you look closely. I wasn't making a point ~ I was just having fun.

7. It was also a homework assignment.

Last night I was able to upload the photo in my first thread but when I downloaded the rest of yesterday's work I opened another program. :banghead:
This afternoon I spent two hours & 20 or so phone calls to the friend who was helping me to set this all up. We were trying to work through my mistake. It makes perfect sense now. I had to be at the point of making the same mistake for a second time while I was on the phone to fully understand what went wrong.

9. The camera caught the motion of the Chickadee's wings perfectly.

The tiny droplets of rain are clearly visible on the feeder to the left OR I would have cropped it from the frame.

The little hummingbirds returned time after time to drink nectar in the small intimate setting sheltered from the cold damp day. I threw in the Calilly just for giggles because I've always had a difficult time getting them to bloom. :)


I haven't even taken 50 pictures with my new toy. ~ The Best Is Yet To Come.
