6. Yep...
and make sure you have a bucket of water nearby to pour on the knife in case it gets hot while you are cutting.

4. It can be done safely, if not legally.
But I wouldn't recommend it.

If anybody's planning on doing it they'd probably want to do it with a plastic knife in a shack with three solid walls and a thin wall facing an open field.

5. As long as you don't do anything to cause ignition,
(that is, make a spark), you can do pretty much anything to fireworks.

Until intense heat energy is applied, all ingredients are non-volatile.

go to it!

(i know you really know what you're doing and are just joking about, but some-one made a pompous and dangerous statement that might be accepted by our younger members.

many energetic compounds are very friction-sensitive; like a gun, they are *never* safe, even if you follow directions. play all you want, but be aware of the risks. and NEVER listen to any1 that says any form of explosive is "safe". jesus...)

10. Gotcha. Like the song said,
"a'flushin' we will go..."

I'll not bother with my initial thought for blowing up peeps. I'll just get a couple sparklers instead.

9. Simple:

As I have no life, I love taking little marshmallow peeps and doing bizarre things to them.

My latest project involves some innocent fireworks; but the ones I've got are waaaaaaaaaaaay too powerful despite their small size. :(
