Speaking of labor laws:Uniform cleaning fee |
My company has uniforms. We are required to wear those uniforms. The uniform service picks up the dirty uniforms and brings us clean ones every week. There is a fee for that and our company makes us pay at least some of it, which comes out of our check. We cannot opt out of this and wash our own uniforms. Is this legal? If so, why if it is required for work there?

1. I think it's a tax write-off. |
If you itemize? It's also a rip-off. :-(

2. I think that it is non taxed, but I am not sure |
Regardless, it does seem like a rip off.
