Poll question: Prince Edward Island
In keeping with my geography polls, how does PEI stack up as a place to visit?

1. I always think of "Anne of Green Gables" when i think of PEI
I've never been there, but the book made it sound nice.

2. Me too.
That is one of my all time favorites. And that seems to be one of the most beautiful places.

3. Based on Nova Scotia and a Bit of Newfoundland,
I imagine PEI to be absolutely wonderful and probably much different from wherever you are now. But wait until July or August to visit unless you're a serious cold weather freak.

Strangely enough, my ex went to a spa one weekend and spent some time with the Prime Minister of PEI, a woman who was there the same weekend. Catherine Callbeck, I believe -- still have her business card somewhere.

4. Beautiful place!
I have talked myself blue in the face trying to get my partner to move there if Bush gets another four years.
If you go in the summer, go swimming at Summerside. You won't believe how warm the gulfstream is. Great provincial park to camp in. Right on the beach.

6. Prince Edward Island is beautiful!

I take the kids every year....As soon as you drive off the ferry you notice the red earth. Even the pavement is red. The province is unique in many ways.

Anne of Green Gables is nice but the little town they built for the Avonlea television series is absolutley lovely!

If any of you get the chance to go, don't pass it up....

8. Awesome
I always enjoy the drive around the island. Still, I think I liked it better before they built the bridge.
