I am going camping in 2 weeks, but

with all the gators out there, I am a tad bit worried!! What if they come and get me out of my tent! :P Seriously, I do have to be cautious about the gators b/c they must be mating like crazy here. :o No, not in Florida, but Mississippi! There was a HUGE one they caught on the front page of the paper this morning! Hunting gators is now legal here b/c they are extremely over-populated!

I was camping over the weekend and a drunk guy tried to get into my tent at 4:30 AM. We got up and run him off and he got into a young couple's tent and tried to climb into the sleeping bag of the guys wife or girlfriend. The guy got up and started yelling profanities at him (we thought Al Pacino was camping next to us)and threatened to blow his brains out with a 9mm. We called the cops and both were arrested. The extremely drunk guy is probably still in jail because he was driving the car when they caught him.

3. We don't have to worry too much about gators up here...:)

We built snow caves on Mt. Hood last month and camped in 100" of snow.....I didn't see a single gator...lol
