1. Just to clarify...
Are you talking pedal steel as is found on a lot of country albums? Or lap steel like on Hawaiian music? Or slide like on blues albums or Ry Cooder early records.

Whoever played pedal steel on Hank Williams "Hey Good Lookin' " deserved to win the Nobel Prize.

By the way, Sonny Landreth is the worst, most boring and obnoxious slide guitar player ever.
