Sticker I saw this morning

Today I was driving behind a minivan that had an oval sticker on the back of it that said: "I'd like gangsta rap more if it wasn't about killing people like me." I took that to mean "killing white people" and found it very racist. What do you all think?

The items also bought by people who bought this sticker mostly lean liberal. Anyway, no rebel flag stuff. So I'd guess that it's a clueless person trying to be funny and not succeeding noticeably.
