Any Elder Scrolls fans out there?

I just got Oblivion last night and I'm going crazy to go home and play it.

1. Sort of

I got Oblivion right after it came out and was enjoying the hell out of it for about 2 or 3 weeks -- and then my video card crapped out on me.

So for the past 2 months I've been in Tech Support email limbo with ATI. I have only the most basic of displays up right now. Sadly, this means no games for me right now unless it's like an old NES emulator or something.

I was up till about 2am playing. I don't see much sleep in my future.

7. Tell me about it

I was just getting really involved in the storyline, had some awesome weapons, etc.

And, of course, when the card died, it appeared that I had just gotten a nasty virus; so I wiped my hard drive, erasing all my saves and all the progress I had made.

Once I get my system completely back up, I'll have to start over from the very beginning.

3. Yes and no. Bethesda's games are always so buggy I mostly

wait at least a year before buying them so the patches will catch most of the problems. I love the idea of their games, but somehow the presentation is never quite up to the promise. I think the last one I played was the one two back. Though I enjoyed it, played it obsessively and did finish it, I also never played it again. (Looked it up; it was one back: Morrowind)

4. Luckily I haven't experienced any bugs yet

I have an Nvidia 7600 and the game looks and plays great.

6. I played the new one pretty heavily for a couple weeks

And I don't think I ever came across a single bug.

But I cannot afford a goddamn XBox 360. :cry:
