damn! i failed the driving test

we went to the state patrol office 50 miles away,but they were overbooked(school just got out).
then we tried the county services office back in the other direction, in enough time to fill in the last spot of the day.

right before the test, the instructor told me to go to the gas station to put more gas in the tank( almost empty) and come back.

(note: this is on a standard, and the clutch is slipping like crazy, and i was mostly worried about them docking points or disqualifying me)

tried again, and this time was for sure. i roll off, and there was a double-gate fence, and only the left side was open, and a stop sign was proped up against the fence, in the middle of the road. i pass it. automatic failure...instead of telling me to go to the right, the instructor tells me to go straight, make a u-turn, go back out the gate,and stop. i do that, and then she tells me to look back. i see the stop sign...:blush:

2. I flunked one of the written tests in driver's ed. I got my license later.

You'll look back on it and laugh. At the time - bummer.
