Do you ever feel like not posting for long stretches?

I think I've run out of things to say. Does this mean I've been here too long? What should I do?

I often find myself outside the general level of discourse for one reason or another. Sometimes I just look for my close friends and just say howdy...

4. OT, but speaking of flying

I was seated yesterday next to a guy who would just not stop itching. I scratched all over his body, and I mean ALL, and then even took of his shoes to scratch his feet. He moved from top to bottom and then started all over again.

He didn't look unclean, didn't smell and had no visible signs of a skin condition. It was driving me crazy. Thankfully, I was finally able to doze off.

I would take chatty over itchy any day.

I try to be respectful of fellow passengers, but this particular flight had 2 of my best friends from work on it- we had a lot to talk about! Anyway, the guy behind us must have been trying to sleep, because when we were leaving the plane he made a point to look straight at me and say, "My, you sure had a lot to say." I've been a lot quieter on planes since then.

I really prefer to sleep on flights. Sounds like if he's that bothered, though, he should bring ear plugs.

Once I took a break for over 2 years. I read here almost daily during that time but didn't post a thing.

I posted very little last summer because I was busy with other things (like summer!). I also took a break recently because I was so dismayed by GD.

Now, I'm enjoying being a Lounge lizard...B-)
