I got friends over there I think, a few people from my high school class enlisted straight outta high school.

4. It's scary really to know that some of the guys dying over there are your

age. I read the faces of the fallen the Washington Post does whenever I can and it just stunned me when I saw that a 18 year old died over there.

Is headed to the 82nd Airborne as soon as he loses some weight. It really puts things in perspective honestly of how our lives have changed since fourth grade. We were all so innocent and idealistic about life as a whole but the grim reality of life is that it's complex and you never know what will happen.
