I just clicked my first ad from here
And ended up bookmarking the site. It's got a lot of anti-bush stuff and while I can't buy now, when I get settled in, there are a couple of things I actually have my eye on. I can't believe I actually clicked on one of those ads! Even more, I can't believe I liked what I saw!

2. I bookmarked this one:
http://www.coffeefool.com/?Click=12290

Some of the prices seem reasonable to me...I'll order from 'em!

You're missing the horrendous traffic jams in Fremont, btw!

3. I'm moving up there in less than a week
Enlighten me. Why the traffic jams? Does it have to do with the renovation of Waiting on the Interurban?

6. They're renovating the bridge.
Only one lane is open in each direction, no trucks or buses (use Aurora) and it's going to take 10 mos. I haven't been there yet but according to TV and the Times, it's a real bottleneck.

:hi:

7. The Fremont Bridge?
The one that always managed to be up when I needed to go over it? (I used to live in a barge just two blocks down from the Troll)

8. I don't know what they're going to do about the boat traffic.
If there's only 2 lanes for cars, I can't see them raising it as often as they usually do. Anytime I have company, the lst thing we do is head to the Troll! I used to drive a red '71 bug.

4. I did too. I clicked on one for Microsoft - I wanted to make them pay
for the click (I'm evil that way)

5. Well, I have a partner who works for Microsoft
so I've had to soften my resistance to them. They really do treat their employees fairly well and despite Bill's horrid business practices, it turns out he's a closet philanthropist. And his dad is a yellow dog Democrat - Bill a fence sitter, unfortunately. And the last thing that swayed me is he has a milder form of a disorder that my son has and so he gave great benefits to the employees for autism care. So, damn it, he wormed his way into my heart, despite his evil overlord tendencies.

Anyway, I had no intention from the start of this of clicking any of the ads. I never do. But, since they had caught my attention via the owners frequent discussion of them, I've been glancing at them and when I saw one of interest, I did click. I was just shocked that it was interesting enough to me to choose to bookmark it.

9. I understand. Me, I generally don't say much against Microsoft, even
though I don't use their products. However, I do have a number of friends whose lives were utterly devastated in the 1980's due to the Microsoft business practices (basically, they had wonderful software products that filled a niche, and Microsoft started telling everyone how they'd be doing it too, so just hold on while. Many years down the road, Microsoft did, but since everyone waited for the Microsoft versions instead of buying the originals, my friends were wiped out, financially).

10. Vaporware. MS still pulls every stunt it can within legal definition...
and sometimes more.

Vile.

And people like to think of Billy as a philanthropist. Blind idiots.

11. Was it the one that said "Bush is listening....use big words"?
I clicked that one because it made me laugh. It has some good stuff, too.

13. Yup
That's the one. If they had phrased one of them a little differently, I would have bought a t-shirt on the spot.

I've wanted a t-shirt for the longest time, that said, Would somebody please just give President Bush a blow job so we can go ahead and impeach him? Now?
