14. I have three cats in the house right now! |
|
In fact, I found out about the voles when they cornered one and killed it. I found out that voles can scream.

3. voles are mice with little ears. |
|
mostly are small though the giant vole is a good 8 inches long. Think of a mouse, but not a field mouse with big ears. (helpful, aren't I) Country mouse vs Mickey Mouse.

5. See if trof could scrounge up another snake for you? |
|
Really you need to both find and seal thier routes in and out of the house and seal up any potential sources of food and water. Then get some humane traps, check them often and release any fuzzy little inmates well away from your house. If that's too much effort or not solving the problem call in a pro.

16. Good idea, LM. We were planning to search for such routes today. |

I think when we built a screened-in porch last year, it disrupted their natural habitat outside the house, and they found a way into the walls.

6. My voles are in my yard killing my azaleas |
|
Rozol does the trick in the yard, but if you have other animals, it would not be good to have around where they might snack on the stuff.
You local extension service might have some tips.

8. My beagle is a master vole destroyer |
|
Unfortunately, to destroy the voles, she pretty much destroys the yard. :)

My God, what is that, an anteater, an aardvark? I think I've seen it in some of my nightmares.

I don't think voles are part of their well-balanced diet, though. :D

17. Yes, we have cats and dogs around, so Rozol won't work. |
|
I put out one of those sticky trap deals to catch one in the garage, but the entire trap disappeared. I think the vole might be very crafty.
