Any Skype users out there?

I posted this over in the computer group but I think there are only a hand full of us who post over there. I am having connection problems due to Zone Labs personal firewall that my company laptop has installed. It works great on my other computers. Skype now offers free calling to regular phones anywhere int he US and Canada.

1. we use it to call overseas

My wife calls her best friend in Switzerland with it. Computer to phone, an hour for about $1.00.

I called computer to computer when my wife was traveling on business in Sweden and Finland. Absolutely free. Some strange phasing things, but for the price, unbeatable.

2. I use Sype all the time

to talk to a friend in Los Osos. Just got off, in fact. I haven't tried the free offer for computer to phone yet, but probably will this weekend sometime. Can't beat the price.

works okay. sometimes it's a bit staticky - don't know why.
