Spears and Federline split?

News reports that Britney Spears has split from husband Kevin Federline have not been denied by the singer’s publicist, IMDb.com reports.
According to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, the couple’s relationship has grown so strained that Spears has banished Federline to live in the basement of their California mansion.

Spears reportedly returned from New York this week to find her husband drinking and smoking cannabis in the house.

Sources say that Spears had hoped to save the marriage for the sake of their son Sean Preston and their unborn second child – due in October – but has lost patience.

Let's see, as a Family Values kind of gal, she married a man who had fathered two children out of wedlock and shacked up with him while the other woman was still pregnant. Who could have guessed it wouldn't last? :cry:

Thankfully, the Marriage Amendment will protect sacred unions like this one from the nefarious threat of Adam and Steve.
