We talked last year at this Memorial Day. You were having a tough time of it then (as was I), as I remember, and I want you to know that I am (and everyone else is) here if you're having any difficulties with it again this year.

Talk to me if you need to. We share something, you and I. If I'm not here at any particular time, others will be. You're never alone, my friend.

1. He actually sent me a joke this morning.

It was very funny. He had saved it for me as it sort of "fit" me.

Hope everything is okay, and I hope that it's okay that I posted here. I'm sort of, well, out of place in this thread.

That said, for what it's worth, I'm always here for both Bikewriter and you, sir. Two folks I've learned much from in a very short time.

3. Well, at 3:28 am, my time

it seems that he was. I responded, but didn't hear anything back. I do hope all is well, and I hope YOU are enjoying this weekend (and I hope you had a fine anniversary, as well).

4. He doesn't sleep much, nor do I. But last night, I slept the sleep

of the righteous (or at least the exhausted), because we did indeed have an enjoyable and ultimately riotous celebration of our anniversary (we may be old, but we still act like a pair of hormone-soaked teenagers pretty much every day).
