15. I'm in the Twin Cities..

After years of mainly visiting Lake Superior and Canada, I've had a chance to see more of Minnesota when I take my kids up to summer camp in Bemidji. I would guess that you wouldn't recognize Brainerd anymore, since it's changed mightly just in the time we've lived in MN (17 years). But, Bemidji and the surrounding area still has the northwoods and lakes feel. Those must have been wonderful summers!

Thanks for the compliment! Mr. Z. keeps reminding me that I'm really supposed to be drawing and painting, but I also like working with wood, mosaic, fabric or whatever captures my (ADD) attention at the time. I've also built a funky wine cabinet for Mr. Z. using old wine crates he has been lugging around for a couple of decades. And I'm working on a corner cabinet for the kid's basement t.v. and PS2, kind of modeled on "Jambi's" cabinet from Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

I thought your architectural model was very good (although it must have been very labor intensive).

It was a pain in the ass and many hours. If I ever have an Interior Design client who really wants a balsa and bass wood model, I'll hire a model maker :rofl:
