79. dude, I assumed you had already gotten some treatment
broken bones are nothing to screw around with. Medical bills should be covered by the driver's insurance, unless a) you were at fault, or b) the other driver is an uninsured friend you are trying to protect.

Well, I guess it will not kill you, but you should wrap it, try to immobilize it (without cutting off circulation)

You might be able to google some treatment, but they all will probably say "get your a$$ to a doctor post haste!"

26. Hey! Went to a great party last night you would have loved...
...it was a 60's themed party, out in the country, with live bands, and free spirits. Great crowd and a fun time. It was like Woodstock, only on a much smaller, more intimate level. Probably 200 people there total, with tents and campers, etc., but there was no pretensions, and no Repugs.

I was at my moms and we had guests over on Saturday evening. Our menu:

Fish paté with some salad (didn't eat it as I don't eat fish)
Cream soup of fennel and red pepper
Filet Wellington with asparagus, carrots and baked mashed potatos (Herzoginnenkartoffeln)
Elder Parfait with fresh fruits

You are one lucky kiddo. I was never able to do something like that. But then again, math in school I enjoyed and was pretty good in it. So a math test I could have passed that way, but not in other classes. Good thing is nobody is asking about my school grades anymore.

44. Lots and lots going on there.
Big discussion on whether parents are morally obligated to pay for their kids' college tuition (I say no).

Another discussion/post about resources for those of us who wish to help/support the troops (and a pile-on by me and some others when something rather offensive was posted there).

Different threads regarding Memorial Day.

Actually, a very interesting day in GD. Overall, a GOOD day, lots of good discussion.

My brain has been getting a workout!

Happens at Seattle Center. Wall to wall food booths, and and even thicker crowds of people. Personally, I don't do well in packed-in crowds, but if they don't bother you, you should definitely check it out. All kinds of different foods, and for not much money, you can sample lots of it.

107. Normally he doesn't drink as much
he tells me he gets tired of going to a pub after work. Well, next Monday he starts his new job. Maybe there is less drinking involved. In his old job they had even a bar there for the empolyees :wow: I never saw something like that before.
