1. Wow - hate to say it, but that looks great.
It's got potential...

But that's not Jim Carrey as Lex Luthor, I hope!

9. I'm willingly to bet that Spacey steals the movie
Spacey is a great actor and he plays the villain. And the villain is always more interesting than hero.

5. Why does Superman look so pretty and Lois Lane look so brunette?
I mean honestly. Kevin Spacey is always awesome, but I'm kind of disturbed by how pretty new Superman is, how much he sounds like Chris Reeve, and how they had to ugly Kate Bosworth up--excuse me, make her a frizzy haired brunette. Because everyone knows if you're a smart woman reporter, you have frizzy brown hair. I'm suprised they didn't give her glasses and a bun. :eyes:

8. Hate to say it, but it looks fucking good.
I am such a fan of the Reeve "Superman", even if the effects are cheesy by today's standards. The first two were really awesome movies. I'm always worried when studios try to roll out a new addition to a movie franchise, especially one as beloved as Superman. From the looks of the trailer, they are doing a good job.

Kinda spooky that they are gonna use old footage to insert Marlon Brando into the film, but I couldn't imagine any other Jor-El.

11. I agree. I just watched S2 tonight...
Smashing stuff. A nice innocent-feeling, family film.

Not the best f/x technology, but this was 1980 and it's plot and character that mean more to me in the first place.

Good to know they are using Brando, if not weird.
