1. Rene, I am calling to tell you how unfair the work practices are in
your department...please forward my comments to your supervisor, and tell him how unpatriotic I think he is. Thank you.

3. I get to take next Monday off.
A member of Senior Team has to be on duty for all holidays. The person who was signed up for memorial day is a person whose position was eliminated during restructuring just prior to my being hired. The ED asked for a volunteer during our last Senior Team meeting, and there was just no way I could avoid working without looking like a jerk.

At least someone else is already signed up for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

:)

Anyway, I should actually get to work soon.

2. Awww..I am sorry you have to work.
 I had to work yesterday and had to miss three parties. I did get to eat quick at my aunt's.

You figure today I am off but no one I know is having a party.

What time can you leave work?

4. I'm leaving right at 5.
My husband and son will be at Grandma's so I'll have the place to myself. I have a little housework to do, but then I think I will just veg out and take advantage of no one wanting anything from me!

:)

6. Good for you to volunteer - now the rest of the team owes you one
Glad to hear you are in your new job (I remember your posting the announcement). Hope it met your expectations and that your boss is a good boss.

Bet the traffic wasn't bad today.

:)

7. Thanks.
Since I walk to work, traffic was great. :)

This job is wonderful. I really love it. Although, I am taking a kind of lax attitude today. I'm doing a very mundane task that I've been putting off and checking into DU about every 20 minutes.

Usually I don't take any internet breaks at all. Not even during lunch.

Hope you're having a grea day.

:hi:
