William Shakespeare's Thought For Memorial Day:

"But if the cause be not good, {he} himself hath a heavy reckoning to make, when all those legs and arms, and heads, chopp'd off in a battle, shall join together at the latter day, and cry all 'We died at such a place!'"

Henry V, Act IV, Scene 1, Lines 134-137.

10. Enjoy reading these
I need to read more Shakespeare. The best writers themes are timeless.

11. There's a book called "The Friendly Shakespeare" by Norrie Epstein
that might help you appreciate and enjoy Shakespeare, John. I recommend it.

12. I read a play of his in every year of high school except 11th grade
where we focused exclusively on American lit.
We read Romeo and Juliet in my freshman year, Julius Caesar in my sophomre, and my favorite, Othello as a senior. Really is true that the best writings are timeless. The tale of Romeo and Juliet, one of love and hatred is still relevant today.

13. If you want, check out my journal.
It has all of the past ones in there.

"Othello" is an astonishing play psychologically speaking. It has everything in there; envy, paranoia, psychopathy, sociopathy. It's an amazing work.
