Do your local police officers wear hats? |
|
Edited on Mon May-29-06 03:04 PM by maveric
Is it compulsory or optional? In my 26 years in San Diego I have NEVER seen an SDPD officer, or for that matter any other local, county or state peace officers wear hats. Is this just a CA thing? Do your local "Smokies" wear hats?

2. All British Police wear them. |

The old-style helmets are very much on the way out - but their heads are always covered.

Either SWAT officers or motorcycle cops. The regular beat and cruiser cops go hatless.
