Indy Fans? Thoughts?
I got home last night around 3 (live in Georgia) and I thought it was one of the best I've ever been to (Yesterday was #17).

It would have been a perfect race had Marco been first and Michael second...I don't understand how Hornish pulled it off after all his errors.

Wheldon had the best car and got the shaft and I'm always more and more impressed with Danica. She's an incredible driver.

I had a great time...I'm fried and blisters are popping up on my nose but it was worth it.

Sat in Turn 1.

1. awsome but heartbreaking
The whole Andretti clan lives in my neighborhood, so it would've been awsome to see them finish 1 and 2, but 2 and 3 ain't bad either. it was certianly one of the better races i've seen.

2. Marco's a decent guy. So's Michael. A lot of racers would have tried
to block Hornish, but the Andrettis played fair. I'm more impressed with them for that than if either had won.

3. GREAT finish, one of the very best, Danica did just fine, she'll be...
back; and maybe it was a good thing that the newbie andretti got aced out, after he cut Hornish's line on the 2nd to last lap...that's nascar bullshit x( at INDY you ain't got the speed step out of the way = Great Race

If you couldn't make one move to close a line, why have the race?
They should just give the trophy to the person who gets poll position and skip the race if you don't want to see that.

4. As one who grew up in the Lehigh Valley (Close to Nazareth)
Another "Darn" for the hometown hero's.
I still remember the 1969 parade when Mario won. Michael was a small boy in the car with his father.

9. loved it
The Andrettis' were class acts. Marco was brilliant in shutting out Hornish's first attempt at a pass when he didn't have position but was right to not aggressively block him in the final stretch. Michael could've acted like (name escapes me) who got the blocking penalty earlier, but he was decent and slowed him down like any racer would do, then let him by.

Danica is impressive, would love to see her get some wins under her belt.

Been an Andretti fan since Mario made Rookie of the Year. Lots of heartbreaks in May, this year it was nice to see 2 and 3 but 1 and 2 would've been sweet!

Congrats on being at a very fine and safe Indy.

15. Once..
Danica combines a better car with a lack of mistakes, she'll be a force! I can definitely see her putting it together. I know nothing's a sure thing (the Andretti drought,) but she'll have just as good a chance as any other.

11. I enjoyed the race
Was pulling for Michael but not dissapointed in the end. Marco's pass was great timing and Hornish timed his perfectly.
