6. I got to babysit my grandson for a while.

I played with him, took him out for lunch, and just generally love the hell out of having him with me. I've missed him so much since he and his mother moved out. Don't miss my step-daughter, though, and neither does my wife. Huge slob.

17. Nope. I've got a two-year-old grandson as well. He's the son of

my older step-daughter. She's married and lives twenty miles away, so I don't see him as often.

I've got a granddaughter who will be born any day now! :bounce:

26. They are all from my stepkids.

Two from the older step-daughter, who is 25, and one from the younger, who is 24. I have a 22-year old stepson who has no children (thank God!)

My wife got married at eighteen and had three kids right out of the gate. She's 46 now.

My oldest is smart, but obnoxious. My younger step-daughter is sweet and smart but atrociously lazy and slobby.

My stepson and I get along, but have nothing in common.

38. Sometimes there is a fine line

of not overstepping your boundaries.

My partner had a daughter and a nephew and I am more like "a friend" rather than like a second dad. The kids of course don't know we're gay although the daughter just turned 12 and is probably going to catch on sooner than later.

I never, ever try to be like a second dad either way.
The kids are my partner's problem to deal with. I don't have any desire to be a father so I don't get involved in their problems.

The kids have caused some problems between us but I guess I chose to stay in a relationship like this so I just have to deal good and bad.

and is active in their lives. I'm just their mom's second husband.
