12. Is that better than tylenol?
I have the generic of either...AND a few Vicodin left over from my bout with shingles. I also have beer and wine in the fridge. :9

Tylenol won't.

As much as the wine sounds tempting, won't that make your headache worse? ;)

For some reason, aloe makes me feel worse. It feels good at first, but when it dries, it's horrible. I'm wondering if I might be allergic to it.

For the summer, I'm gonna call you Redbrick. :loveya:

And my burns were so red, they were almost maroon. Owwwwwwwwwwwww!!

I wasn't going to stay outside long - just long enough to put the weedkiller on the lawn. Oh well.

But I live just south of Door County, WI (Chicago's playground). Our little city grows during the summer, and I'm trying to find ways to capitalize on that (in a loving, Christian way, of course!).

Mostly happy, yes. Sometimes sad, but those moments pass in time.

I'm sorry. My mom used to say vinegar...but that's never worked for me. And it smells horrible. 'Bout the only thing I can suggest is aloe. And if you can get some that can be sprayed on...oh, God, that's heaven.

Will this be the first and only? Are you one of those lucky people who burns the first time out and then tans?

I've never tried vinegar - but I really don't want to walk around smelling like a pickle.

Aloe and I just don't get along together - don't really know why (unless it's an allergy).

I'm one of those people who always burns. I have no tan. I only have connecting freckles.

10 am and 2 pm. Two, wear sunscreen. Three, stay the f' off ladders, they be deadly things. (I have a phobia about ladders, used to free climb rocks but no ladders. Climb out and up on the roof, but no ladders. rope, handholds ok,go figure.
And if you can find it, Banana Boat vitamin E lotion. I can't do aloe either but haven't found anything to beat the Banana Boat E. Hard to find though.
Tomorrow is my sun day, today was a quiet and try to not go slowly insane day. I went and bought flowers to plant tomorrow. The Amish stay open on Memorial Day and I thought what better than to plant flowers. So there are some for Beau (who called them weeds so he didn't have to weed) and for my grands, the others kids I know of lost to DUI, your mom and all others lost to those that love them. Who would of known 6 was as bad or worse than 1.

Edited to add, and one very very very gentle .

I bought a bunch of plants last week, too. Some gorgeous geraniums, and I got a bleeding heart plant that I'm gonna call "Lefty".

Beau sounds like I would have loved him.:hug::hug:

65. I would never forget Roo
Gizmo or Blue, but they have their own garden with Jaz.Weeping willow and all. So why do you call bleeding hearts lefty? (Me being a southpaw and all, wondering?)You would of loved Beau, though he would of quizzed you all out on religion, then ask why you weren't in a church here. He hated Bush and couldn't wait to vote at all but especially for Gore. I did raise a Flaming liberal. Oh and please never take me (Beau) to a church that preaches hell and brimstone. He got a kick out of telling the ultra Baptist that he was a pagan since he was Methodist. And yes they were that bad and he was that snarky. He also loved telling Jehovah witness's he was a Buddhist to watch them leave, FAST. So for me it is a thinking of my grands, the boy almost but never to be all man and the critters and even your mom watching over us all. they know the answer to the questions we haven't thought of now, but our love keeps them alive here too. Ok bedtime because I am getting way to sentimental and retrospective.

60. As a redhead have made sure NO SUNBURN in over 20 years!
And, used to get burned as kid. So much so, especially my nose, that I lost all the freckles there.

Here are some home remedies that may help...more choices than just aloe or apple cider vinegar.
http://www.health911.com/remedies/rem_sunb.htm

Heal quickly, take your vitamins, and drink lots of water!

Seems you've already had enough people tell you to take care of your skin and not burn....so I won't go there. I do know your pain though....
